- 1 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 7 c. sifted flour
Directions

1Cream shortening, sugar, salt and eggs.

2Add cold and boiling water, 2 cups flour and yeast mixture.

3Beat well.

4Gradually add remaining flour until well mixed.

5Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate and use as needed.

6Shape and let rise.

7Bake at 400° until brown.

8Rub butter or margarine over rolls as soon as they are out of the oven.

9Will keep for 2 weeks.
