  • 1 lb. drained sauerkraut
  • sliced Polish sausage
  • 4 Tbsp. Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 tomato
  • several rye crackers
  • 4 to 8 oz. shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

    Put sauerkraut in 1 1/2-quart casserole.

    Mix in sliced sausage.

    Spread dressing on top.

    Slice a tomato over that. Crumble several rye crackers on top of tomatoes and top with cheese.

    Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
