  • 3 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cut into serving pieces, uncooked
  • 1 large can sauerkraut, rinsed, drained and squeezed
  • Swiss cheese, sliced thin to medium
  • 1 1/2 large bottles Thousand Island dressing
  • celery seed

Directions

    Place chicken into ungreased baking dish (9 x 13-inch).

    Place slices of cheese on top of chicken.
  3. 3
    Spread sauerkraut on top of first layer of cheese.
  4. 4
    Put cheese over sauerkraut also.

    Sprinkle on celery seed.

    Pour dressing evenly on top.

    Cover with foil. Bake at 325° for one hour.

    Uncover and bake 1/2 hour longer.
