Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • sliced corned beef
  • sliced cheese
  • sauerkraut

Directions

    Mix 2 1/4 cups flour with salt and sugar in large glass bowl. Sprinkle yeast on the top.

    Pour hot water and margarine into the flour mixture and mix well.

    Blend to form a ball, then knead on floured surface trying to knead as much of the remaining flour as needed.

    Roll dough out onto a greased cookie sheet.

    Layer cheese and corned beef down the middle.

    Cut slots in the sides of dough and bring across to look like braid, sealing up the insides. Cover and let rise 15 minutes over boiling water.

    Bake in 375° oven for 25 minutes.
