- 3 c. rhubarb
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. oats
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Cook first 3 ingredients, then set aside to cool.

2Combine next 5 and stir cornstarch with water and add to oat mixture. Pour 3/4 of this mixture into lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

3Pour rhubarb on top, then put last 1/4 on top of rhubarb. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°.

4Good plain, or with ice cream or whipping cream, hot or cold.
