- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 c. diced rhubarb
Directions

1Stir into large bowl in order given.

2When well mixed, pour into large prepared loaf pan 3/4 full.

3Rises handsomely; sprinkle topping over batter.

4Bake at 325° for 1 hour.

5Cool before slicing.
