- 1 1/2 c. diced rhubarb
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2/3 c. oil
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Sprinkle sugar over rhubarb.

2Let stand while mixing batter. Mix all together thoroughly.

3Add sugared rhubarb and chopped nuts.

4Mix well.

5Pour into pans and sprinkle with topping.

6Bake in a 325° oven for 50 to 60 minutes in 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) greased loaf pans.
