  • 1 1/2 c. finely chopped rhubarb
  • 1 1/2 c. finely chopped pears
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Directions

    Grease bottoms of 2 loaf pans.

    Mix rhubarb, pears, sugar, oil, vanilla and eggs in large bowl.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.

    Pour into pans.

    Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
