  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12 cup white sugar
  • 23 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 12 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 12 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1 12 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

Directions

    Can use cinnamon and sugar mixture.

    Beat together 1 cup brown sugar, white sugar and oil.

    Add egg and beat well.

    Sift flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon then add to first mixture, alternating with buttermilk.

    Add vanilla and nuts; mix well.

    Stir in rhubarb.

    Put into greased pans.

    Blend topping together and sprinkle on top of batter.

    Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees or until done.
