  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. rhubarb, chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 c. cinnamon sugar

Directions

    Cream sugar and shortening; beat in egg and vanilla, then add mixed dry ingredients.
