- 2 c. thinly sliced rhubarb
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Take rhubarb and 1/2 cup sugar and let set until sugar is completely dissolved.

2Beat until creamy 1 1/2 cups sugar, Crisco and egg.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Fold in rhubarb mixture and bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Use tester to make sure cake is done.

6A very moist cake.
