  • 2 c. thinly sliced rhubarb
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Take rhubarb and 1/2 cup sugar and let set until sugar is completely dissolved.

    Beat until creamy 1 1/2 cups sugar, Crisco and egg.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Fold in rhubarb mixture and bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Use tester to make sure cake is done.

    A very moist cake.
