  • 1 cup (225 ml) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) shortening
  • 1 cup (225 ml) sour milk or buttermilk
  • 2 cups (475 ml) flour
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). soda
  • 2 cups (475 ml) finely diced rhubarb

    Mix in order given.

    Pour into greased and floured 9 inch x 13 inch pan.

    Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

    Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 30 to 40 minutes.
