- 6 c. rhubarb
- 3 oz. box strawberry gelatin
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 15 1/2 oz. can pineapple
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water or strawberry juice
- 1 stick oleo
Directions

1Heat pineapple until boiling.

2Add cornstarch and water, cooking until thickened.

3Add sugar and gelatin; set aside. Butter a 3-quart baking dish.

4Line with rhubarb.

5Pour pineapple sauce over rhubarb.

6Pour dry cake mix over fruit and pat down. Cut oleo in small pieces.

7Spread over cake mix.

8Bake for 55 minutes at 350°.

9Serves 12.
