- 3/4 lb. cleaned rhubarb, cut in 1-inch strips
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. Karo white syrup
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 (9-inch) pie crusts
Directions

1Place rhubarb in pie shell.

2Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg; beat well.

3Add syrup and butter.

4Pour over rhubarb.

5Cut remaining pie crusts into strips and lattice.

6Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.

7Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes more.
