  • 4 c. rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 small pkg. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. dry cake mix (white or yellow)
  • 5 Tbsp. melted shortening
  • 1 c. hot water

Directions

    Cut rhubarb in 1-inch pieces.

    Place in bottom of well-greased 9 x 10-inch or 10 x 12-inch pan.

    Cover with remaining ingredients.

    Bake for 34 to 44 minutes in 350° oven or until brown.
