  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1-1/4 cup flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 cups finely cut rhubarb
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water

    Cream butter and 1 cup sugar.

    Add egg, milk, baking powder, flour and salt.

    Mix well and put in bottom of 9 x 9 inch pan.
