Ingredients

  • 3 lb. boneless short ribs
  • 1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. onions, minced
  • 1/2 c. celery, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Brush meat with Kitchen Bouquet.

    Brown well in hot oil. Remove meat from pan.

    In same pan, saute garlic, onion and celery for 2 minutes.

    Stir in remaining ingredients.

    Return meat to pan.

    Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is fork-tender.
