Ribbon Jello Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 small pkg. Jell-O (1 each: red, green, yellow and orange)
  • 2 envelopes Knox gelatine
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 1/8 c. milk
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Dissolve each package of Jell-O in 1 1/2 cups of water, instead of the usual 2 cups.

    (Dissolve Jell-O as needed for layers.)

    Dissolve the 2 envelopes of plain gelatine in cold water and set aside.

    Put the milk and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

    Remove from heat.

    Add the softened gelatine.

    Put sour cream in a bowl and slowly add the milk mixture.
  8. 8
    Add vanilla.
