  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 1/3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel

    Combine first 3 ingredients.

    Combine dry ingredients.

    Add oil, peel, milk and egg.

    Mix just enough to moisten.

    Fold in nuts.

    Spread 1/2 of mixture into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
