  • 2/3 pound ribs
  • 1 onion finely diced
  • 1 garlic clove finely diced
  • 1 green bell pepper finely diced
  • 2 1/8 cups rice
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • beef stock
  • saffron powdered, you can substitute ground turmeric

Directions

    In a wide, shallow skillet, fry the ribs and then set them aside.

    In the same skillet, saute the finely diced onion, garlic, and bell pepper.

    Add the rice and a tablespoon of paprika.

    Mix well and add the stock. Remember, add 2 parts stock to 1 part water.

    Add a pinch of powdered saffron for a little color.

    Cook 18 minutes on the cooktop or 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius.
