- 1 c. pinto beans
- 1 c. rice, uncooked
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 fresh tomato
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic salt or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Place 1/2 cup oil in electric skillet.

2Add chopped onion, green pepper, tomato and spices to taste.

3Saute in oil until tender or lightly browned.

4Add tomato sauce, then add rice and beans with 2 cans of water and simmer.

5More water may need to be added.
