- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1 (20 oz.) can pie-sliced apples
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. flour
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine rice, apples, lemon juice, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and salt in buttered shallow baking dish.

2Mix flour and remaining sugar.

3Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.

4Stir in nutmeats. Sprinkle over rice and apple mixture.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Serve warm, topped with whipped cream.
