Rice-Broccoli Crunch

- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. water chestnuts, cut fine
- 2 c. very dry cooked rice
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
Directions

1Saute onion and celery in butter.

2Add soup, milk, water chestnuts and 1/3 jar of Cheez Whiz; blend.

3Stir in thawed and drained broccoli and rice.

4Pour into lightly buttered 2-quart casserole dish.

5Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.

6Soften remaining Cheez Whiz by warming over double boiler.

7Spread over casserole.

8Bake 5 minutes longer.
