- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 1/4 stick butter or margarine
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1/2 can water
- 8 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 3/4 c. white rice
- parsley flakes, salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Saute onion in butter.

2Add broth and water.

3Simmer for about 5 minutes.

4Add mushrooms with juice included.

5Mix uncooked rice, parsley flakes, salt and pepper in casserole dish.

6Pour liquid ingredients into casserole and stir.

7Cover and bake in 350° oven for one hour.
