- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed beef bouillon
- 1 c. water
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, drained and chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
Directions

1In a Dutch oven, saute onion and green pepper in butter until soft.

2Stir in all remaining ingredients.

3Cover tightly and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 60 minutes or until rice has absorbed all liquid.
