Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 c. rice
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 onion, finely minced
  • 1 c. bouillon
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown rice in heavy iron skillet in butter until golden.

    Just before rice is fully browned, add minced onion.

    Mix rice with all other ingredients and bake in greased casserole, uncovered, for 45 minutes in a 350° oven.
