- 1 c. rice
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 onion, finely minced
- 1 c. bouillon
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. oregano
- salt and black pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown rice in heavy iron skillet in butter until golden.

2Just before rice is fully browned, add minced onion.

3Mix rice with all other ingredients and bake in greased casserole, uncovered, for 45 minutes in a 350° oven.
