- 4 c. cooked rice, cooked with one bay leaf
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 c. sour cream
- 3 c. grated cheese
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- parsley to taste
- 1 1/3 c. chopped green chilies
Directions

1Cook rice with 1 bay leaf.

2When done, remove bay leaf and set aside.

3Saute onion in the butter until clear; remove from heat. Fold in rice and sour cream.

4In a separate bowl, combine grated cheese, cottage cheese, salt, pepper and parsley.

5In baking dish, layer 1/2 rice mixture, 1/2 green chilies, then 1/2 cheese mixture.

6Repeat.

7Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes or until bubbly hot.
