- 12 chicken livers, rinsed well and cut into halves
- 12 strips bacon, cut into halves (do not use thick sliced bacon)
- 1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. beer, rice wine or water
- 3 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. honey
Directions

1After chicken livers are cut into halves, make a thin cut into middle of each piece.

2Insert a slice of water chestnut into each cut.

3Wrap each piece of chicken liver/water chestnut in a half strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

4Place in a flat dish or storage container in one layer.
