  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. white dinner wine
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. snipped parsley
  • 2 c. shedded Swiss cheese
  • 2 c. cooked brown rice

Directions

    Saute onions and celery in butter until tender.

    Combine milk, wine, eggs and salt.

    Mix with sauteed vegetables and remaining ingredients.

    Pour into 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole.

    Sprinkle with extra chopped parsley or paprika.

    Bake in 350° oven about 30 minutes or until browned.
