- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery sticks, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1/2 c. shredded carrot or chopped spinach
Directions

1Saute butter, onion, celery and garlic.

2Add chicken broth and rice.

3Bring mixture to boil.

4Stir once with a fork.

5Add shredded carrot or chopped spinach.

6Cover, turn to low heat and cook until all liquid is absorbed.
