- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. uncooked regular rice
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/2 c. golden raisins
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp. white wine (optional)
Directions

1In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine and saute rice until lightly browned, stirring often.

2Add wine, salt, water, bouillon cubes and raisins to rice.

3Cover and bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat and cook 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender and dry.
