Ingredients

  • 2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms (slices)
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 6 to 8 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cans beef consomme (may add 1 beef bouillon cube for extra flavor)
  • 2 cans water
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Saute rice and mushrooms in butter.

    Add chopped onion and liquid.

    Add salt, as desired.

    Put in casserole and bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Top with parsley and serve.
