  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 4 green onions, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 14 cups chicken or 2 14 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup rice (your choice)

Directions

    cook orzo and butter in a skillet til the orzo starts to turn golden brown,

    add the onion and garlic and cook for 3-5 more minutes.

    add the broth and bring to a boil.

    add rice, cover tightly and simmer for 30-45 minutes.

    fluff with fork and serve.
