- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons vegan butter
- 4 green onions, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 14 cups chicken or 2 14 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup rice (your choice)
Directions

1cook orzo and butter in a skillet til the orzo starts to turn golden brown,

2add the onion and garlic and cook for 3-5 more minutes.

3add the broth and bring to a boil.

4add rice, cover tightly and simmer for 30-45 minutes.

5fluff with fork and serve.
