- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1 handful fine egg noodles, crushed in hand
- 1 c. regular rice (not instant)
- 1 can Campbell's beef consomme (add water to = 2 c.)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 medium green pepper, diced
- small jar chopped pimento
Directions

1Melt margarine; add crushed egg noodles and brown lightly. Add two cups mixture of beef consomme and water and bring to a boil.

2Add rice; cover and simmer about 10 minutes.

3Add the chopped vegetables and pimento; cover and simmer another 15 to 20 minutes.

4Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
