Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

  • 2 c. long grain rice
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 2 cans bouillon
  • 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • slivered almonds
  • 1 can water
  • 1/2 c. orange juice (or water)
  • 1 c. green onions, sliced

Directions

    Saute rice with butter until browned.

    Place in baking dish and add bouillon, water, juice, mushrooms, almonds and green onions. Cover and bake 45 minutes at 350°.

    May also cook in saucepan on stove top 25 to 30 minutes.

    Serves 6 to 8.
