- 1 c. regular white rice
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine rice, water and salt in a 3-quart kettle.

2Bring to a boil, cover and simmer on low heat for 14 minutes.

3Add milk, sugar and butter.

4Boil on medium heat for 20 minutes until thickened, stirring often.

5Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into serving dish and sprinkle with cinnamon.

6Delicious warm or cold.

7Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
