  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

    Heat the oven to 325°.

    Combine all ingredients in a 1-quart casserole.

    When pudding has baked 30 minutes, stir in the brown upper crust.

    Stir in the crust twice more during baking.
