- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 5 to 6 eggs
- 4 c. milk
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Cook rice until done.

2Rinse in strainer with warm water. Beat eggs and add remaining ingredients.

3Put rice in casserole dish.

4Pour egg mixture over rice and stir.

5Place casserole dish, uncovered, in a pan of water and bake at 350°.

6Stir every 15 minutes until skin forms.

7(Bake for about 1/2 hour more after skin forms.)

8Sprinkle with nutmeg.

9Great served with baked ham. Total baking time is about 1 1/2 hours.
