  • 1 1/2 c. cooked rice (not instant)
  • 3/4 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients.

    Add scalded milk and butter.

    Add cinnamon.

    (You may wish to add a dash of nutmeg.) Pour into 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

    Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until mixture is firm.
