- 1/2 c. regular rice (not Minute rice)
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 qt. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
Directions

1Cook rice in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.

2Do not drain.

3Add milk and butter.

4Bring to a boil.

5Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla.

6Stir mixture slowly into cooked rice.

7Sprinkle with cinnamon.

8Add raisins if desired.
