  • 1 cup rice white rice, uncooked
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs separated
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 x salt to taste

Directions

    Cook rice in large pot until all water is absorbed.

    Add milk and dash of salt; cook until thickens.

    Mix sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla; beat with a little of mixture; cook 1 minute.

    Add beaten egg whites.

    Pour in bowl and sprinkle top with cinnamon if needed.
