- 1 qt. milk
- 1 c. water
- 2/3 c. long grain rice
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- cinnamon
Directions

1Heat milk and water in saucepan.

2Add rice; stir.

3Add sugar, salt and butter and stir, then let simmer for 50 minutes.

4Beat 2 eggs in separate bowl and slowly add hot mixture.

5Beat constantly.

6Add vanilla and stir gently.

7Ladle into dessert dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon.

8Refrigerate.

9Serves 8.
