- 1 to 2 lb. beef soup bone
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. rice
- 3 tsp. salt
- 2 qt. beef broth
- Rivels
Directions

1Boil soup bone with salt and pepper in enough water to cover until tender.

2Remove meat from bone and set aside.

3Measure broth and add water if needed to equal 2 quarts.

4Add rice to broth and cook 15 to 20 minutes until rice is tender.

5Add rivels to soup; add meat.

6Boil slowly for about 7 minutes.
