  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, cut fine
  • 2 c. celery, diced
  • 1 c. mushroom or tomato soup
  • 3 tsp. green pepper
  • 3 tsp. soy sauce

Directions

    Mix rice, sugar, salt, soy sauce and boiling water; let stand. Brown meat, onions and celery; add soup and combine all ingredients.

    Bake in a greased casserole for 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
