  • 12 cup butter, melted
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 unsweetened chocolate squares, melted and cooled
  • 34 cup all-purpose flour
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.

    Bake in a moderate oven (375 F) 8 to 10 minutes.

    A hazelnut-sized spoonful of dough will flatten out into about a 2 to 2 1/2 inch cookie.
