- 1 Hershey bar (large size)
- 1 can Hershey's syrup
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt Hershey bar in chocolate syrup.

2Cream butter; gradually add sugar.

3Stir in chocolate mixture.

4Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour with soda and salt.

5Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture, alternating with buttermilk.

6Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

7Bake for 1 hour at 350°.

8Cool.
