- 7 c. milk
- 1 c. regular long grain rice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. dark seedless raisins
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. heavy or whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- ground cinnamon for garnish
Directions

1In 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, heat milk, rice and salt to boiling.

2Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3Add raisins and sugar; simmer 20 minutes longer or until rice is very tender.

4Pour rice mixture into large bowl and refrigerate until well chilled.
