  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or anise flavoring
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, Ricotta cheese and flavoring; mix well.

    Add dry ingredients, gradually.

    Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 12 to 14 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
