- 1 1/2 c. warm milk
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- about 4 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast; add 1 tablespoon sugar in warm milk.

2Add 1 1/4 cups flour; beat thoroughly.

3Let rise for 40 to 50 minutes. Add 3/4 cup sugar, butter, salt and about 4 cups of flour.

4Let rise a second time (40 to 50 minutes).

5Roll out dough and cut. Let rise, then fry in hot grease.
