- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 22 Ritz crackers
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- top and bottom crust (your choice; double pie crust)
- approximately 1/8 lb. butter (about 6 pats)
Directions

1Bring water, cream of tartar and sugar to boil.

2Add Ritz crackers.

3(Do not break, keep whole.

4The secret; individual squares, approximately 1 1/2 inches square.)

5Cook for 2 minutes; do not stir.

6Pour mixture on bottom pie crust.

7Sprinkle with cinnamon.

8Dot with dabs of butter.

9Put on top crust.

10Bake 10 minutes at 425°.

11Reduce heat to 325° and bake 20 minutes longer.
